About: Phoenix Futures / Barnsley drug and alcohol services

(as a service user),

The service I have received here is generally very good, however I have been let down with help for a tribunal appeal against a medical I had for the job centre who deemed me fit for work. The senior welfare rights worker was going to help me but retired in august.

I have asked for help here but still haven't got any. My tribunal is on 19th Sept so I will have to attend alone, which will be stressful. Stress is a weakness I have which makes me lapse into drinking again.

I am really sorry that you feel you are experiencing undue stress due to this situation. As your post gives limited information I can only urge you to contact our recovery navigation service (01226 779066) and speak with one of the managers (I have informed them of this posting). I am sure they will be able to find an appropriate way of supporting you and reducing the stress levels.
