The timescale from start to finish was fantastic.

I had leg pain, swelling, tingling and numbness in varying degrees but making it increasingly hard to walk.

I was referred to Mr Abhinay Kamat who sent me for an MRI scan. He phoned me at work to give me the results. When he found out i was a teacher he tried to get the operation in the summer holidays which was only weeks away.

He performed the op in August & as soon as i woke up the swelling and all pain had gone from the leg.

The Barlborough hospital care was outstanding. The only downside was Chesterfield is 2 hours away! I am now ready to resume work walking better than i have for years. Thanks to everyone involved.
