It isn't much fun spending 4 months in any hospital, but, given that everyone compains about hospital food, I thought you might like to know that if you are unfortunate enough to end up in the Spinal Injuries Unit at the NGH, once you are out of bed you will be eating in a nice dining room, with good food which is cooked on the premises (most of the food at the NGH comes from a central kitchen and is reheated near the wards) No wine, but you can't have everything!
