"Excellent visit to Newton Abbot hospital"

I have nothing but praise for the service that I received at Newton Abbot hospital - the staff were all excellent, and the whole experience ran smoothly from seeing my GP to being discharged. The doctor that I saw in day surgery was extremely accommodating, allowing me to go home before my surgery to take my diabetes medication instead of having to wait at the hospital.

If I had one complaint at all it would be about the parking. Why do patients have to pay so much for it? It would be much better if outpatients were given a free permit for the duration of their visit with their appointment letter. Having to pay for parking for the whole day that I was there was very costly indeed.
