What I liked

The Medical Assessment Unit arranged and performed all the tests appropriate to my Mothers condition.

she was admitted and given treatment within hours of arriving at Hospital.

the levels of hygiene of both medical and auxiliary staff on the ward were of the highest order.

all staff were polite and respectful to my Mother.

subsequent visits to the DVT clinic were brief, with any waiting for blood test results being done in the excellent Hospital restaurant.

The DVT staff explained everything they were doing and why, particularly with regard to medication.

my Mother is exceedingly pleased with the care she is receiving at Barnsley hospital and we have always found this to be the case.

keep doing a fantastic job.
