What I liked

I visited my Mum in Meldon Ward each week until she was moved to a new hospital. I found the hospital very clean, i thought the staff worked well together, and i would like to say thanks to all the staff at Meldon Ward for their efforts. Also, i didnt meet any of them, but the staff at Tavey ward where Mum was first admitted.

What could be improved

Test results all seemed a bit hard to get done in time and MDT meetings were missed because of this. News about prognosis was not given to the ward staff and so thus far we have not been able to obtain it.

The ward staff are very busy at times and because of this sometimes do not have time for the smaller more personal aspects of staying on the ward. This is not their fault and they do their best. Care is still very good though.
