"My overall experience was good and I am grateful..."

What I liked

The care and support that my consultant gave me, before during and after my hip replacement operation is to be highly commended. He was patient, caring and kind and is a wonderful advertisement for the Orthopaedic Department of Brooomfield Hospital.

The care which I received on the ward was good - all Staff were respectful, pleasant and patient. I was especially impressed with two Student Physiotherapists.

I was fortunate to have a room to myself and this room was kept to a very high level of cleanliness.

What could be improved

The food was terrible!!!! I spent four days in hospital and I did not find lunch or dinner a pleasant experience. This is a shame as my overall view of the time I spent in hospital is marred by the food which I felt was inedible.
