"Day Care Unit"

I came onto the ward for a procedure on the 6th Sept, I was meet by a lovely staff nurse by the name of Becky. She put me at ease and made me feel very well cared for.

I was due for a full GA but was worried because I am very sick with this type of anaesthetic, the lady anaesthetic who came to see me noted my concerns and offered me a spinal which I gratefully accepted and my blood pressure immediatly went down.

From then all stress lifted from me and I was able to relax and look forward to not being ill for 48hrs.

My surgery was straight forward and I was lucky enough to have the surgeon who had been looking after me in out-patients.

The recovery nurse was lovely as well, on my return to the ward nothing was too much trouble and Becky looked after me all day . Thanks very much a very positive experience.
