I went to the thomas linacre centre for the antenatal clinic. I found a lot of the vending machines were out of order, making it difficult to get water whilst waiting for the scan and glucose tolerance test.

The midwife who did the full blood count was brilliant

Thank you so much for your comments and I shall pass your very positive comment regarding the midwife to the Head of Nursing for Midwifery so that she can pass this to the appropriate staff.

I am sorry that on that day there did appear to be a problem with some of the vending machines being either out of order and out of stock. This clearly would have affected your experience, particularly as you needed to be able to drink water in readiness for your tests. Please accept our apologies for this. Fortunately, the vending machines were restocked later the same day but unfortunately this was too late for you. I do hope that your next visit to the Thomas Linacre Centre will be different and that the vending machines will be working properly. I shall pass your comments to the General Manager for Estates and Facilities for his information.

Just in case you are unable to access the vending machines at any future visit, there is a WRVS cafe on the ground floor, just behind the reception desk which also provides hot and cold drinks and refreshments.
