"Gastric band surgery - what a wonderful job they did!"

I would like to thank Mr Small and his team for the wonderful job he did on my op. He was gentle, and very concerned for my health, but he performed a fantastic job. It took 3yrs to get the op right. The gastric band in and out, and he went back to the drawing board and succeeded. He is the best surgeon in Britain in my opinion and the hospital is second to none. The nursing staff are caring and helpful, and indeed wonderful. The Sunderland Royal should be very proud of the cleanliness of the of their hospital.

I could go on forever about them, but I just love that hospital and think they and their team should get an award.

Thank you all from the cleaners, to the nurses, to the doctors. What a fantastic team.
