What I liked

Well my first time expierience of labour wasnt the best ,, i had a really bad time with numerous complications and a grueling 36 hours of labour. But the staff were absoloutly fabulous , i cannot fault one thing they did from the moment i went in to the moment i walked back out of the doors they were nothing but incredible,, my midwife who was with me all through labour deserves a medal she was brilliant and got my baby into the world safely she was A*** and stayed with me throughout the whole process and was a real support,, the doctor and baby doctor was also amazing , there arnt words to describe how great they were and the aftercare was immence in which i recieved.

My expierience has now lead to me wanting to go to uni and fullfill a degree in this,, i dont think there is a more satisfieing job so thankyou to the team for therte inspiration.

What could be improved

Not a single thing.

Thank you for your very positive comments regarding our Maternity Services and it is heartwarming to learn that your excellent experience has given you the inspiration to go to uni, train and take up a career in this. Best wishes for this in the future.

I will pass your comments to the Head of Nursing for Midwifery and Childrens Services so that she can pass these on to the staff involved. Thanks for the particular comments about your midwife and both the doctor and the baby doctor, these are most welcome.
