What I liked
staff understood I like things done to time, and made sure my medications were on time or told of any delays. Consultant saw me regularly, with a member of his team seeing me daily. Food was excellent, and the housekeeper made every attempt to tempt patients to eat. Served hot from a trolley.
Most of the Ancillaries always had time for little requests.
A doctor hid a birthday balloon in their office overnight - making sure it was on my bed next morning!
What could be improved
someone available to deal with issues during change over of staff - better communication to staff on handover when medication was due outside the normal dispensing.
Anything else?
treated like a human being, not a number.
"recieved integrated and comprehensive treatment"
