"Wonderful,Kind,Caring,Supportive Staff That Were..."

What I liked

I was treated at Salford Royal for the first time this year after being a patient at another hospital for ten years. I have had two brain tumours to date and had the second brain tumour removed in June 2011 under the care of your wonderful Consultant, Specialist Skull Base Nurse & Team and was a patient on ICU & A3 for four days when it was agreed I could go home because I was recovering so well. I have to say this experience at this hospital was very different and I can't thank them enough. I felt comfortable, reassured and informed every step of the way, was not at all concerned and I felt like my care and treatment was in fantastic hands. The lovely staff nurse in anaesthetics, ICU and the lovely ward nurses were very kind, supportive and helpful and assisted with any needs that I had with lovely caring attitudes. I do not have to return for follow-up for twelve months now and hope that if I do encounter any problems in the distant future it will be dealt with under the care of your wonderful staff, I would prefer not to go anywere else now due to feeling like I had the best care possible at what should have been a concerning time but it wasn't thanks to the superb informative, caring & supportive Consultant, Specialist Nurse & Team. Many thanks and I am extremely grateful.
