"FOCUS Gateway Get-Together"

About: Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust / Adult mental health (inpatient)

(as a staff member),

Over the last 3 weeks (thanks to the support from St Peter's Church) service users have developed their own drop-in sessions on Wednesday afternoons between 1.30pm and 3.30pm.

The sessions give adults with mental health difficulties the opportunity to meet up and chat over a cuppa in a peaceful environment.

Thanks to all the volunteers who are supporting this really valuable resource.

It is good to hear that people are managing their recovery in the community due to the support of St Peter's Church.

Peer support can make such a difference to the recovery of a meaningful life. I am sure this will be read by many people in a similar situation who will be encouraged to hear about the group.

Thank you for your posting
