The nurse's and ward Sister's never remembered a patients name. I saw no 'basic care' given to patients that needed it and some of these patients asked for help, it was not given. Staff told me they were to busy when I said I was in pain. I was left without water and I could not get out of bed. I am sorry to say that apart from one Health care assistant all staff were not professional. A member of staff attempted to take my blood, I refused because they didnt tell me who they were and what they were going to do, just walked up to me and started getting equipment together, which I sat and watched until the staff member attempted to put a tornique on me. I would never be treated at Chester again. The doctors were just as rude. All night staff were rude and gave the impression they didnt want to be there. Patients didnt want to ask for anything brcause of the staff's attitude. The doctor shouted at a patient twice. I told him to stop and he shouted at me.
