"You all work so hard"

About: Tameside General Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

After more than 18 months of heavy periods, it was suggested by Mr Watson that a resection would be a good option.

The womens health unit was very clean, the staff were lovely and I felt really cared for. Mr Watson was wonderful and made me feel calm just before surgery.

You all work so hard. Thankyou

Thank you for posting these comments. I am pleased that your experience on the Women’s Health Unit at Tameside Hospital was pleasant and that you felt well cared for. I will make sure that Dr Watson and the other staff in the unit are aware of your kind comments.

With best wishes

Philip Dylak

DIRECTOR OF NURSING

Would you like to help the hospital to improve its services further? We are currently looking for patients and carers to become involved in a development called “Patient Stories”. We want to know more about our services from the point of view of those who received them – what was good, bad, what could be improved, what should be changed. Want to know more about what’s involved?

Please contact Philip Dylak, Director of Nursing at philip.dylak@tgh.nhs.uk
