What could be improved

I endorse whole hearteedly the previous comments about cavalier attitudes to enquiries and the inability to achieve telephone contact.

Last week, whilst an out patient at York Hospital, the nurse attanding me could not believe that despite repeated attempts, she could not get through to Selby holpital to clarify what support procedures were available there. She tried 4 times in two hours wasting precious time and resources at each attempt.

I have been since charged with makinga an urgent appontment for blood tests. Currently on my 5th attempt today.

This is unacceptable and needs to be addressed immediately.
