Anything else?
I attended the gynaecology outpatients clinic last week for a hysteroscopy. It was not something I was looking forward to, due to the very nature of the procedure.
In the consultation the doctor expalined everything that was going to happen to me and what the likely outcomes would be in a clear and "patient friendly" way. At all times I felt included in the process.
The hysteroscopy itself was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be partly thanks to the two fantastic nurses who were working in the clinic with the Consultant that day. They helped me feel totally at ease with the whole situation with their professionalism, kindness and empathy in a non patronising way, turning a very anxious patient into a very relaxed and happy one.
Thank you
