What I liked

Although I have entered this information in the first person it was my mother who was admitted to first, May Ward & then moved into Holly Ward at St Peter's.

The care that she received from the first team was exemplary in every respect. Every person working in the ward knew her & worked with her to improve her failing health. As a family we were in awe of the professionalism, expertise & leadership within this Ward.

When she moved into Holly Ward the same standard of care was applied - despite the fact that she is 95. She received support, care and therapy linked to an holistic approach to improving her health. There was a determination that she could improve & of course she did.

As visitors to the ward we were always welcomed warmly & our concerns for her always addressed.

She has returned to her home now & as a family we cannot thank the nursing staff - and associated teams - for their diligence, hard work, patience & professionalism.

She could never have done it without them.
