"Nice nurses, rubbish doctors, wouldn't..."

What I liked

The first nurse in triage was lovely and very sympathetic, there was also a very nice nurse in the amber departement of a&e, I wish I had remembered their names as they were the only decent people there. They were very caring, and made the experience of being in hospital a lot less distressing.

What could be improved

The Doctor, was awful, did not examine me once before sending me off, just asked questions, did not even come back in to inform me himself that I was being sent on to another departement, felt like because I had come in on my own 2 feet, and not in a ambulance, that I was therefore less important. The floor in the room also had blood on it, from a previous patient, and whilst I understand they were very busy, it would not have taken much to clean it.

Anything else?

I was in a lot of pain, and got sent on to another department, who then said I wasn't their problem before getting sent home, it then took me a further two visits to my gp, and another two to hospital before getting taken seriously. I still have no idea what is wrong with me, and am still in a lot of pain, unfortunately I will probably have to go back to this department due to the pain I am still in. Was made to feel that I would have been better off calling an ambulance, wasting NHS funding, despite not needing one, to get taken seriously. However the nurses were lovely.
