"Internal bleeding and referred to Solihull Hospital"

About: Birmingham East and North PCT Solihull Hospital

(as the patient),

I went to my doctor about 10 days ago and after describing my symptoms they referred me to have a colorectal screening at Solihull hospital as they were worried I might have internal bleeding.

I was very pleased that my doctor had fast-tracked me and somebody called me on the Monday offering me an appointment. I would have liked to have been told a little more about what the screening will involve as I turned up to the appointment a little worried.
