"How could my cancer not have been detected before now?"

I have had numerous cameras in me, lots of tests done and many appointments at Whiston Hospital, particularly in the ENT department. This has been going on for over 12 months.

I recently had the same treatment by a cancer specialist, who diagnosed me with cancer immediately.

I was referred to the cancer specialist by the person I was seeing at the ENT department, who I'm sure should be trained to spot cancer but mine has gone entirely undetected for almost a year through seeing this person.

I am so disappointed. I am of course worried about my health and feel that the delay in being treated could be very serious.
