I went to art therapy first when I was being treated at Kildean after suffering from severe depression and have not stopped with the art since. I am now going on to do a degree in fine art. At Kildean there was a room and library with lots of resources and you could try out lots of different things. Unfortunately that is not there any more. After that I went to ArtLink and also to Reachout. The art therapy has been really important to me and my recovery. I have had exhibitions in different places for Reachout and ArtLink.
The art has been the constant thing for me thats kept me going.
Recent changes have made it so that art classes are not as available to everyone, I know people with a physical disability who would like to go. There are more teachers available now.
