"Thank you to the Arts Programme at Solihull hospital"

About: Solihull Hospital

(as a volunteer/advocate),

I volunteer 1 hour each month at Solihull Hospital to play the piano in the reception area. I would like to say thank you to Sandra who is another volunteer and always looks after me when I am there. Also Esther is the organiser of the arts and she sorts all of this out and makes it possible.

I am a piano teacher and really enjoy being able to play in the hospital. There are 40 of us volunteers who are all various musicians and play in between here and heartlands hospital.

I try and play relaxing collections and a variety of songs, I especially like old classics like Bridge over troubled water by Andrew Lloyd Webber.
