"Not good would not advise my friends to..."

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital (Gateshead)

What I liked

The only person i thought was pleasent was the receptionest. She was very nice.

What could be improved

Staff being a bit more professional. And a bit more helpful with questions us clients have to ask. I found them very rude and self centered. They were very heavy handed with me going through this.

Anything else?

I have been waiting months for this appointment for this ultra sound and i have been worrying all this time. A ll i wanted was a answer finding out5 what was wrong. I had found a lump in my side and it was sore. I had getting my letter through for it and when i opened the letter it was for a trans vaginal scan. I started to worry as the appointment became closer. As soon as i walked into the scan room i noticed to men. And by law two men should not be working together in the same room. They made me feel uncomfortable and they were not bothered when i asked them questions about this lump that has been worrying me for a long time. When i asked them how long do i wait for my results and they told me you can find out the next day. I also asked is it normal for the lump to be sore and they said no. The question i have is why did they not investigate further seem as i was already in the hospital. Staff should have respect for us.It was a horrible experience i have ever had in my life. They wanted me out as fast as i went in. If i was getting in the way of there clocking off time they should of gave me an earlier appointment instead of brushing me off like that. I do not deserve this sort of treatment. I think i should go to the papers about how your staff treat there patients on a day to day basis.
