What I liked

Superb experience. Across the whole process from the ante-natal ward through to the labour suite and then to the post-natal ward and SCBU, the teams were warm and friendly as well as efficient and professional. Despite clearly working under budgetary constraints, their sense of humour and committment to the patients shone through clearly, creating a family-like atmosphere that was very reassuring. I would wholeheartedly recommend the maternity experience at Torbay and hope to be able to use it again myself some day. Many thanks for your dedication.

What could be improved

Improved bathroom facilities on the ante-natal and post-natal wards- small improvements like some hooks and bath mats would be good !

A day room with TV, phone and internet access.
