"Good care at BMI Thornbury Hospital"

I was recently referred to the surgeon Mr Abhinay Kamat (One Health Team) by my GP (through the NHS).

I was seen within 3 weeks of the referral and found the team at the local BMI hospital in Lincoln very helpful and Mr Kamat clearly explained the procedure that was necessary for me.

After the inital consulation I received a letter 7 days later offering me an appointment for the operation in the BMI Thornbury Hospital in Sheffield for the following week. I attended the pre-op clinic 3 days prior to my operation and all staff at the Thornbury Hospital were very kind and they clearly explained what would happen. The hospital itself was immaculate and very comfortable.

The operation took place as planned 3 days later and again I cannot fault any staff or the environment in any way at all. Everything went well and I was discharged the next day. I would not hesitate in recommending the One Health Team to anyone and can only give them praise for making a daunting procedure as stress free as possible.
