"made to feel like a nuisance"

What I liked

The nurse that did my 12 week scan was very friendly, warm and made me feel at ease

What could be improved

the manner of the receptionists in the reception just before you enter the main maternity section i think it may be gyna dept. when stood at the desk was ignored for 5 minutes by rude receptionist who didnt even acknowledge me. when she finally did she didnt have a clue about how to answer my enquiry on bounty packs and where i can obtian one from. she wasnt helpful and very dismissive. after explaining that i have been told three time son several different occasions taht there are no bounty packs left and all i wanted to know was where i can get one from, she called another woman from the back room who in a very aggressive matter of fact way told me there was nothing she could do and its just the way it is what can she do? i mean a little bit common courtesy when talking to patients would be lovely especially for new mothers to be. she wasnt helpful in letting me know why they are not available or when the next batch would be in, i have encountered nothing but rude maternity staff since i found out i was pregnant and will be making a formal complaint with everything that has happened so far...im keeping my log of bad behaviour!

please retrain your staff to have some more compassion and develop their communications skills when dealing with patients
