What could be improved

I was not very impressed with the general cleanliness of the hospital as a whole, the bed that my wife was on in A&E had blood stains on the side rail, and the ward that she was later taken to had food remains ( crisps) and liquid stains on the floor for two days and the corridors and lifts had litter on the floors, and several members of the cleaning staff were stood gossiping in the main corridor on two occasions that I was visiting. Also the meals were cold by the time they were given to the patients. I also think that elderly patients with age related mental health problems should be segregated because their behavior is very distressing to other patients.
