I had a mastectomy at the Jane Ashley Women's Centre in April 2011, with previous visits for tests etc. The treatment was amazing.
All the staff were amazing, from the start of my journey through breast cancer to my most recent visit.
I have a wonderful Breast Care Sister, Selina Miles and on the ward after my operation one tearful and emotional day, was a superb nurse called Catrin Rees. She was incredible with her care, compassion, the way she gently talked and treated everyone with such dignity. I was just so impressed by her dedication.
Everyone who works in that centre was wonderful. I couldn't have had better treatment if I'd paid to go to a private hospital. It is the most amazing place and we are so fortunate to have it here in Oxfordshire.
