What I liked
my daughter has visited the dolphin ward on many occasions, when she was younger she was diagnosed with cancer and also her main treatment was in leicester she spend alot of time in the dolphin ward. the care she received there was wonderful. the play specialists are exceptionally good at dealing with the children and in reassuring them when they are about to receive unpleasant treatment . my daughter was not allowed out of her room as her immune system was compromised and the play specialists always remembered to bring in things to make and games to play. The nurses were also lovely. She has also had squint surgery more recently and we also have no complaints at all regarding this. I would recommend the Dolphin ward to anyone.
What could be improved
Some of the doctors bedside manners could be improved but the nurses are all too willing to explain in normal terms what is going on.
"a bad year was made the best it could..."
