What I liked

The consultant surgeon was very helpful and was easy to get on with, and his people skills were very good.

What could be improved

Patient care. I felt that the care that I got was rather hit and miss. Health care related staff were alright, but when it came to pain relief I was not at all impressed. I found that in order to get any form of pain relief I had to press the nurse buzzer, otherwise I could not be sure if (or when) I would get any pain relief.
