"Excellent Experience"

What I liked

Having never visited Stafford Hospital before I was a bit nervous about finding my way around. However upon approaching the main reception desk we were greeted by a very friendly member of staff who asked if we knew where we were going and very kindly explained how to get to the right department.

Upon getting to the department the lady on reception there was very cheerful, efficient and friendly.

We did have a bit of a wait probably no longer than 40 mins, and certainly no longer than when I have visited other hospitals so was expecting that.

The nurse and support worker who carried out my scan were so friendly and helpful and put me at ease immediately even going the extra mile to find out that I was in fact due to see the consultant straight after my scan which I wasnt aware of, but extremely pleased with! Although we were directed to the "orange" area in another part of the building I still managed to get lost but was immediately asked by a member of staff if I was ok and she proceeded to lead me to the correct area. All reception staff and support workers in this area were again cheerful, friendly and helpful.

I cannot fault my consultant, I have to say that she is the best consultant I have ever visited and i feel totally at ease and confident in being under her care.

I left the hospital with an appointment for my operation and even went through my pre op assesment! I am so impressed with the efficiency, helpful and friendly staff and general "nice" feeling when visiting this hospital I felt compelled to write this review!

Just excellent throughout, very impresses, thank you to all the staff, your all doing a fantastic job!
