"Removal of spinal synovial cyst by microsurgery"

About: Barlborough NHS Treatment Centre

(as the patient),

Checked in at the Barlborough specialist NHS unit, Chesterfield for the above surgery. It was performed by Mr A Kamat. Fantastic place and the staff from the cleaner to the surgeon were absolutely wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble and I felt really "cared for". I was seen by everyone including the matron and was checked regularly to see if I needed anything or any further explanations of the procedure I was to have. I really couldnt fault anyting at all at the unit, it is pristinely clean, extremely well run and a very happy band of people. My surgery went well and the surgeon came to chat to me afterwards as did the anaesthetist, ward manager, matron and other staff - how lovely. I am now at home recovering, The wound has healed already (1 week) and although restrictions are in place I am feeling really good. Many thanks to everyone.
