What I liked

The nurses did explain everything about my procedure - single level cervical adr. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was very good. The physiotherapy dept is very good as well,

The consultant and anaesthetist came to talk to me prior to surgery, then both checked up on me post operation, just before they left after a 12hr day. That meant a lot to me.

My appointments with the physio & nurse were on time, there was an issue with the nurse's appointment - somehow it'd been cancelled, but they resolved the issue calmly and quickly and I was seen at the original time appointed.

What could be improved

The nurse on the night shift said that they knew nothing about what procedure I'd had performed on me. Whilst I was quite happy for the nurse to watch me get out of bed to use the bathroom, this attitude was disconcerting.
