"I think the DART team deserve 10 out of 10!"

Having seen my doctor about an eye concern, I rung to book an appointment and was given a date at the end of July. This seemed reasonable, at just less than a months time.

2 days ago, I decided to call to see if I could get a cancellation as my eye is causing me significant pain. The lady on the phone said that unfortunately there had not been any cancellations but advised that if I was desperate, I could try again at any time before my appointment date.

I rung yesterday, and within 3-4minutes the lovely lady on the other end of the telephone had found an earlier appointment due to a cancellation - it was for TODAY at Newton Abbot Hospital! I was so pleased, and the lady said she would send confirmation by post. I told her not to worry, that it wasn't necessary and wouldn't arrive before my appointment anyway but she assured me it would.

Low and behold, this morning what should drop onto my doormat, but the confirmation letter, sent by first class post!

I think that's absolutely marvellous, and I think the DART referral team deserve nothing less than 10 out of 10!
