"My nightmare at the story street clinic"

About: Hull Teaching PCT

(as the patient),

I had a problem with my ears, and so went to the walk in clinic off story street in Hull.

I found the receptionist terrible and rude - and I think something should be done.

When I walked up to the counter, they didn't welcome me, they asked what was wrong in front of everyone, and then said I probably wouldn't get treated as they didn't do ear syringing. I never said I needed it doing.

So I filled out the form, which said I didn't need to have told the receptionist what was wrong. Anyway, I filled it out but forgot to include my first name. They receptionist asked what it was, and when I told them, they grimaced, I said "Thanks! Don't feel that good about you either!"

They then put my file at the back of the pile and told me I wasn't getting seen today. I waited for a while (and watched a different receptionist being lovely to other patients and this receptionist being rude.)

I then went to ask if I would be seen and they said no - I wouldn't. So I left and went to Bransholme Clinic (6 miles away) I then got excellent care and the antibiotics I needed.
