What I liked
Had a knee op ,and from the moment I arrived I was treated very well.
Prior to my surgery I was shown to a private room with an ensuite which was very comfortable even if a bit old fashioned. The room was very clean. All the staff were excellent , nothing was too much trouble . My surgery was at the time scheduled and I was returned to my room with care , the nurse looking after was excellent and kept checking on my pain , my comfort. Housekeeping made me and my partner tea and sandwiches which were fab .
Overall the experience was excellent , I would definately recommend the hospital.
What could be improved
Perhaps an update in the rooms and some more modern tvs.
Anything else?
A far cry from the NHS, however like most people still appreciate how lucky we are to have the NHS. St Marys just made having surgery so much easier and the enviroment was excellent
