"I can only describe my experience as positive"

Having been unable to get an appointment or being seen as an emergency at my GP surgery last week, I attended Lever Chambers Walk In Centre from walking through the door to receiving treatment I can only describe my experience as positive.

I was booked in efficiently and the receptionist on duty was also pleasant and caring. I was treated by a nurse named Lynn she was professional but also put me at ease and made the experience a positive one.

I was treated for a knee infection following a fall the previous week and advised to return last Friday. My return visit this morning was again efficiently dealt with and I was seen promptly treated and advised to return on Sunday to have my injury checked. The staff again were excellent.

I can only praise the treatment I have received and hope that a service like this one does not fall foul of the present NHS cutbacks. It is a valuable service and takes the pressures of an already busy A&E department. It is central being town centre based and when you are unable to get a GP appointment it is an ideal alternative, for certain conditions.
