Every sympathy with the gentleman featured in the Daily Mail recently. Almost without exception I found the admin staff I spoke to rude and unhelpful. It took me FOUR months to arrange an appointment through nhs choices. Every time I booked an appointment I received a letter within a week to say that I had requested that it be cancelled, on contact the infirmary I pointed out that if I had cancelled I would not be ringing to try and make the appointment.
Thumbs up for the anticoagulant clinic - always helpful, efficient and above all, caring
