What could be improved

opening up the ortheapidic ward they shut so patients would not have to have their operations cancelled for the 4 th time when they have travelled a distance

my husband came in to have an operation on the 15 th june after it had been cancelled 3 times before only to be told at 11.30am they had to send him home along with 3 other patients due to the fact there was not anybeds available .we where given this news by the bed manager who then was at the recieving end of some very annoyed patient,s and family who understood it was not her fault but she understood their frustrations ,When we contacted the dept dealing with waiting list we where informed it would be about a month before he would get another date for his operation which i find is unacceptable my husband has waited since november 2010 for his operation which is getting cancelled every time.Due to the shortage of beds which is going to continue each time unless they open the ortheapidic ward they closed leaving just one my husbands condition is getting worse so
