"My experience of Stafford General Hospital."

About: South Staffordshire PCT / Community physiotherapy Stafford Hospital / General surgery Stafford Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics West Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust

(as the patient),

I broke my tib/fib on 2nd of April this year. From the moment the 1st Responders turned out until the ambulance team took me to S.G.H. I could not have wished for better treatment.

Once at the hospital everything that could have been done (assessment,x-ray,back -slab) was done before finding me a temporary bed on ward 6.

Moved from 6 to Trauma & Orthopaedic I then went for my operation under the auspices of Mr. Andrew Raines.

Thereafter my stay at Stafford Hospital was a dream marred only by poor food.

My treatment from start to physio (where I am currently suffering - for my own good !!!) has been superb and I would recommend this hospital to anyone, despite recent media coverage.
