"a depressing experience which I would..."

About: Samuel Johnson Community Hospital

What I liked

On a pre booked visit to your Xray dept on 7th June for ultra sound scan on my wrist. The receptionist was welcoming and helpful and the appointments were running to time. The surroundings were clean, ample parking, departments easy to find.

What could be improved

The two staff who attended to my scan were in my opinion cold and unwelcoming, they did not explain what was going to happen and conversed about the scan in whispreed tones to each other completely ignoring me and at the conclusion handed me a piece of paper with instructions on how to get my results . I understand that there are set procedures to follow but I felt that overall there was no warmth or friendliness in their attitude towards me. I was suffering with sciatica at the time and informed them of this, explaining that i would need to position myself in a certain way to ease the discomfort and was told sharply to sit up straight as though I was a child.
