What I liked

I was treated in the day unit and operating theatres. The staff were extremely kind, polite and caring; nothing was too much trouble. I was quite nervous and they made every effort to make me feel at ease. From the health care assistants to the consultants all the staff were very professional and thorough in explaining and completing all the necessary checks. They paid attention to detail and I felt very safe and reassured. I was a little bit woozy and they made sure that I understood everything for my discharge before I went home.

What could be improved

I have thought really hard about this and can quite honestly say that absolutely nothing could have improved my experience. Thank you all.

Anything else?

While I would prefer not to have any more surgery if I had to, then this unit would be my first choice for care. I would not hesitate to recommend the day unit and theatres at the Friarage hospital to my family or friends.
