From a carers point of view
I visit Ashley house on a weekly basis and go to the holistic therapies, I have a pamper each week which is brilliant and you are always made to feel special.
The carers group is fantastic and no matter how low I am feeling at the time I know I can always go and chat and be helped by the staff and other carers who have had the same difficulties as me, it's great I don't feel alone anymore.
My son is an ex user and a recovering alcoholic and I also care for my grandson who partially sighted and has learning difficulties, I have had lots of bad times and heartbreak.
This place has been my haven and I don't know how I have of coped with life before I found it, it's fantastic.
