Vida at Ashley House

(as a carer),

I am a carer for a young child who's mother is a recovering addict. I would like to access the therpies that are on offer at Ashley House on a Wednesday morning but I amnot able to due to work committments. I would really find it benefical if Vida was able to offer a evening session as my grand daughter will be taken care of and I would be able to grab some much needed relaxation. Caring is very stressful and I am grateful for Vida when I get the chance to attend which is currently in the school holidays

Thank You for your posting.At present the alternative therapies offered are Monday pm,Wed pm and Friday pm for service users and as you say Wed am for carers.I am sorry that you are unable to attend on the Wednesday due to your work commitments.We have no plans at present to undertake an evening Vida session however I will ensure your posting is discussed at the next managers meeting and with our commissioner of services to see if there is any way of extending carer access to more sessions.Please also continue to access the service as you are able.
