My granddaughter had a bad infection in her leg and the doctors and nurses were brilliant. They had to take her drip out as it was hurting her when the medicine went in and she hated the oral medicine she had to take (she was only 4) so they helped her with masking the taste with nice juice and it worked.
I strongly agree that it should only be same sex patients in wards. I hate it when men and woman are together in hospital. It is very embarrassing and stressful. I have spent a lot of time in hospitals and hated mixed sex wards.
