What could be improved

I wonder what the receptionists are there for, if they are going to be so robotic in taking your details. Should we not have an automated system? Where You just register and move up the list to be seen by another robotic person. Going to a&e felt like being in some sort of mass production line. Not impressed with the medical attention I received especially if someone is in so much pain.
