My appointment was cancelled 24 hours beforehand because I had been wrongly booked into a men only session. I had booked the day off as had my son to take me. I come from Surrey for the procedure and have been having this procedure for over 20 years. When this was run by the NHS I never had any problems. Now that it has been taken over by a private company, the problems have started. I have now had to be booked in for June, which will mean that my yearly checkup is once again late let's hope that this delay doesn't impact on my health. This just isn't good enough. I prepare myself for this test every year in the hope that my cancer hasn't come back and to have the appointment cancelled 24 hours before is both cruel, insensitive and highly inefficient. |Not good enough Care UK.
