"This was the worst hospital experience..."

What I liked

There was nothing i liked at all about this hospital, i'm filling this in on behalf of my daughter, who was treated very badly, almost like an imbisil because of her age. not only was she treated badly , so was i, her partner, and his parents, i had travelled all the way from Norwich on the day to be with her as her birthing partner, when a child is down the frist person they want is their mum's. i was not allowed in because it wasn't visiting hrs, when i eventually saw her she was well in labour, and not coping well, as she told me once labour had taken hold no one cared or moniterd her progress, several times i asked the midwives about checking her but was told she's doing fine and walked away, when it came to pain relief she was offered two paracetamol and a hot bath, what a disgrace. As the day wore on, i was sitting in the corridor as the canteen's were closed and i wanted to be there at all cost, when we were told by a midwife to leave the premisses, and the partner and parents, when i said i had no where to go as i had travelled down she shrug her shoulders, very rude very unhelpfull in fact i'd call it ignorance, we did leave eventually but the partner was sent to the A & E dept, to sit and wait, but he was called back just as the baby's head was crowning, otherwise he would have missed it too

What could be improved

The staff need retraining in patient care.
